Longitudinal dissociation of atrioventricular accessory pathways

open access: yesJournal of the American College of Cardiology, 1991
Unusual properties of atrioventricular (AV) accessory pathways were found during electrophysiologic investigations in four patients (three men and one woman). Anterograde longitudinal dissociation of the accessory pathway was observed in two patients and retrograde longitudinal dissociation in two others.

Thermal proteome profiling and proteome analysis using high‐definition mass spectrometry demonstrate modulation of cholesterol biosynthesis by next‐generation galeterone analog VNPP433‐3β in castration‐resistant prostate cancer

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
Elevated level of cholesterol is positively correlated to prostate cancer development and disease severity. Cholesterol‐lowering drugs, such as statins, are demonstrated to inhibit prostate cancer. VNPP433‐3β interrupts multiple signaling and metabolic pathways, including cholesterol biosynthesis, AR‐mediated transcription of several oncogenes, mRNA 5′

Anesthetic Management of a Patient with Wolff-Parkinson-White Syndrome for Laparoscopic Cholecystectomy: A Case Report

open access: yesJournal of Nepal Medical Association, 2020
Wolff-Parkinson-White syndrome, an electrophysiological disorder of heart caused by preexcitation of an abnormal accessory pathway, can either be asymptomatic or may present with palpitation or exertional dyspnea.

Successful trans‐septal ablation of a left concealed accessory pathway in a patient receiving surgical mitral valve repair and mechanical aortic valve replacement

open access: yesAnnals of Noninvasive Electrocardiology, 2021
We presented a case of severe aortic regurgitation and moderate mitral regurgitation s/p aortic valve replacement and mitral valve repair. Deterioration of tachyarrhythmia attacks was noted.

A long slanted transseptal accessory pathway

open access: yesJournal of the Chinese Medical Association, 2011
A 63-year-old male with Wolff-Parkinson-White syndrome was admitted for ablation of accessory pathway. Intracardiac electrogram revealed a left-side accessory pathway during tachycardia, which was successfully ablated from the right posterior tricuspid annulus because of a long slanted transseptal accessory pathway (2.2 cm).

Electrophysiologic Demonstration of an Atriofascicular Accessory Pathway [PDF]

open access: yesPacing and Clinical Electrophysiology, 1988
Evidence of an atriofascicular accessory pathway has not been reported previously. In the patient presented in this case report, an electrophysiology study demonstrated a constant left bundle branch block QRS configuration despite varying degrees of ventricular preexcitation, in association with a constant atrioventricular interval during incremental ...

Orthodromic reciprocating tachycardia and heart failure in a dog with a concealed posteroseptal accessory pathway.

open access: yesJournal of Veterinary Internal Medicine, 1995
A 4-month-old male Labrador Retriever was presented for recurrent bouts of pulmonary edema associated with tachycardia. Initial physical examination and echocardiography were unremarkable, and the electrocardiogram revealed only an intraventricular ...

Elucidating prognostic significance of purine metabolism in colorectal cancer through integrating data from transcriptomic, immunohistochemical, and single‐cell RNA sequencing analysis

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
Low expression of five purine metabolism‐related genes (ADSL, APRT, ADCY3, NME3, NME6) was correlated with poor survival in colorectal cancer. Immunohistochemistry analysis showed that low NME3 (early stage) and low ADSL/NME6 (late stage) levels were associated with high risk.

Hyperbolic deformation of the strip-equation and the accessory parameters for the torus [PDF]

open access: yes, 2013
By applying an hyperbolic deformation to the uniformization problem for the infinite strip, we give a method for computing the accessory parameter for the torus with one source as an expansion in the modular parameter q. At O(q^0) we obtain the same equation for the accessory parameter and the same value of the semiclassical action as the one obtained ...

Sevoflurane has no effect on sinoatrial node function or on normal atrioventricular and accessory pathway conduction in Wolff-Parkinson-White syndrome during alfentanil/midazolam anesthesia.

open access: yesAnesthesiology, 1999
BACKGROUND The effects of sevoflurane on the electrophysiologic properties of the human heart are unknown. This study evaluated the effects of sevoflurane on the electrophysiologic properties of the normal atrioventricular conduction system, and on the ...
