Emerging Approaches for Phytoconstituent Delivery in the Management of Rheumatoid Arthritis: Bridging Nature and Nanotechnology

open access: yesPhytotherapy Research, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT Rheumatoid arthritis (RA) is an autoimmune condition marked by joint inflammation, cartilage destruction, and bone damage. Conventional treatments, including NSAIDs and DMARDs, have shown effectiveness in slowing down disease progression, but prolonged exposure to such medications results in adverse effects and lack of tolerance among patients.

Technology Assisted Intraoperative Anatomic Visualization: Surgeon Perspectives and Unmet Needs

open access: yesWorld Journal of Surgery, EarlyView.
Iatrogenic injury to critical anatomic structures remains a leading source of surgical morbidity, most commonly due to visual misperception rather than technical error. Despite a rapidly expanding ecosystem of intraoperative visualization adjuncts, the surgeon's perspective on current limitations and unmet needs has not been evaluated. The objective of

Advent of NK3R Antagonists for the Treatment of Menopausal Hot Flushes: A Narrative Review

open access: yesBJOG: An International Journal of Obstetrics &Gynaecology, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT The menopause transition is marked by symptoms predominantly attributed to declining oestrogen levels. Approximately 80% of women experience associated symptoms, and 25% experience severe symptoms. The commonest are vasomotor symptoms (VMS), collectively referring to hot flushes and/or night sweats.

Pre‐Procedure Predictors of Six‐Month Survival After Fetoscopic Laser Ablation for Twin–Twin Transfusion Syndrome (TTTS): Retrospective Observational Study

open access: yesBJOG: An International Journal of Obstetrics &Gynaecology, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT Objective To determine pre‐procedure maternal, pregnancy and fetal factors associated with survival until 6 months of age and evaluate temporal trends in survival outcomes over a 25‐year period following fetoscopic laser ablation (FLA) of placental anastomoses in monochorionic twin pregnancies with twin–twin transfusion syndrome (TTTS ...

Interventional oncology in children: Where are we now?

open access: yesJournal of Medical Imaging and Radiation Oncology, EarlyView.
Abstract Paediatric Interventional Oncology (IO) lags behind adult IO due to a scarcity of specific outcome data. The suboptimal way to evolve this field is relying heavily on adult experiences. The distinct tumour types prevalent in children, such as extracranial germ cell tumours, sarcomas, and neuroblastoma, differ strongly from those found in ...

Urinary complications following Bricker urinary diversion in gynecologic cancer: A retrospective analysis of 77 cases

open access: yesActa Obstetricia et Gynecologica Scandinavica, EarlyView.
Uretero‐ileal stricture is a common complication of Bricker urinary diversion in gynecologic cancer, affecting 30% of 77 patients. Preoperative nephrostomy, chronic radiation enteritis, and prior chemotherapy increased the risk, while preoperative ureteral stenting was protective with no effect on overall survival.
