All‐Dielectric Metasurface‐Based Gap Waveguides

open access: yesAdvanced Photonics Research, EarlyView.
Dielectric metasurface‐based waveguides (metawavegides) offer several advantages over conventional waveguides, making them ideal for integrated photonics. A design of a metawaveguide composed of a pair of dielectric metasurfaces is proposed, where each metasurface behaves as a wall of either a perfect electric conductor or a perfect magnetic conductor,

Structured prehospital chest pain assessment and clinical diagnostic score for prehospital identification of ST‐segment elevation myocardial infarction before an electrocardiogram

open access: yesHong Kong Journal of Emergency Medicine
Background In resource‐limited settings where prehospital electrocardiogram (ECG) is not available, prehospital recognition of ST‐segment elevation myocardial infarction (STEMI) remains challenging.

Intelligent Eye Tracker Integrated with Cylindrical Capacitive Sensors for Chronic Fatigue Assessment

open access: yesAdvanced Sensor Research, EarlyView.
A wearable capacitive eye tracker for chronic fatigue assessment is presented, utilizing cylindrically shaped capacitive sensors made of a carbon nanotube‐paper composite. By integrating a novel fatigue‐induction protocol with machine learning, the device achieves 0.75‐sensitivity and 0.73‐specificity, providing a practical alternative to existing ...

Unveiling the Capacity Boosting Mechanism of the MoS2 Electrode by Focusing on the Under Potential Deposition in All‐Solid‐State Batteries Prepared by One‐Pot One‐Step Liquid Phase Mixing

open access: yesAdvanced Sustainable Systems, EarlyView.
MoS2 electrodes with high dispersion for solid‐state rechargeable batteries is successfully fabricated by using one‐pot one‐step liquid‐phase mixing methods, which realize exfoliating MoS2, synthesizing solid electrolytes, and compositing with conductive agents in a single step. And underpotentially deposited lithium metal is observed onto the metallic

Tumor Microenvironment Triggered In Situ Coagulation of Supramolecularly Engineered Platelets for Precise Tumor Embolization

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
Occlusion of tumor blood vessels represents a promising yet challenging approach in cancer treatment. Herein, supramolecularly engineered platelets conjugated with morphology‐transformable nanoparticles is developed for precise tumor embolization. The engineered platelets actively accumulate at tumor sites following induced blood vessel injury.

Nucleotides as an Anti‐Aging Supplementation in Older Adults: A Randomized Controlled Trial (TALENTs study)

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
The TALENTs randomized controlled trial evaluates the potential of nucleotides supplementation as an anti‐aging intervention in older adults. After 19 weeks, nucleotides supplementation significantly reduces DNA methylation age, suggesting a delay in epigenetic aging, and improves insulin sensitivity without severe adverse events.
