Nanoarchitectonics of Metal–Organic Framework and Nanocellulose Composites for Multifunctional Environmental Remediation

open access: yesAdvanced Materials, EarlyView.
Nanoscale metal–organic frameworks (MOFs) and nanocellulose composites have significant potential for the multi‐functional remediation of the environment. This review focused on the synthesis strategies (in situ growth, ex situ growth, and other approaches), typical forms (aerogel, hydrogel, beads, and membrane), and applications in the removal of ...

Additive Manufacturing of Neuromorphic Systems

open access: yesAdvanced Materials, EarlyView.
The crossover of additive Manufacturing (AM) and neuromorphic engineering promises a new paradigm in the fabrication of intelligent hardware—one that is sustainable, scalable, cost‐efficient, and customizable. The AM‐printed neuromorphic hardware (electronics and mechanical systems) is examined, and we discussed the technological integration.

Thermochromic Gires‐Tournois Resonators with Tellurium for Battery Thermal Runaway Warning

open access: yesAdvanced Materials, EarlyView.
A thermochromic Gires‐Tournois (GT) resonator with a thin tellurium layer enables rapid, reversible, and untethered detection of battery surface temperature <80 °C. Exploiting tellurium's refractive index change driven by a thermally induced phase transition between solid and quasi‐liquid states, the GT resonator visualizes heat propagation, providing ...

Nitrogen‐Doped Amorphous Carbon Film for Enhanced Cu2+ Electrochemical Sensing in Marine Environments

open access: yesAdvanced Materials Interfaces, EarlyView.
Large‐area N‐doped amorphous carbon films are synthesized at room temperature via hybrid linear ion source technique. Nitrogen doping promotes the formation of sp2−C and C‐N bonds, thus enhancing the electrode's sensitivity. These electrodes achieve ultra‐low Cu2+ detection (8 × 10−3 mM) in 3.5 wt% NaCl and exhibit excellent stability/repeatability for
