Directed Self‐Assembly of Magnetic Bioceramic Deep Inside Dentinal Tubules May Alleviate Dental Hypersensitivity

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
Magnetically guided bioceramic nanoparticles (“CalBots”) achieve deep dentinal tubule occlusion via directed self‐assembly under externally applied magnetic field. Various visualization techniques and a novel mouse behavioral assay indicate that CalBot‐induced plugs may reduce dentinal sensitivity, offering a promising strategy for future dentin ...

Alternative Models for Anticancer Drug Discovery From Natural Products Using Binary Tumor‐Microenvironment‐on‐a‐Chip

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
This study presents a binary tumor‐microenvironment‐on‐a‐chip (T‐MOC) system incorporating multicellular tumor spheroids (MCTs) as an alternative preclinical platform to evaluate the efficacy of anticancer natural products. The T‐MOC model reproduces in vivo drug delivery barriers and physiological conditions, enabling morphological analysis to predict

Reply to “Exploring Bacteria‐Based Cancer Immunotherapy”—Comment on “Discovery of Intratumoral Oncolytic Bacteria Toward Targeted Anticancer Theranostics”

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
Abstract This manuscript is a formal response to the commentary by A/Prof. Dr. Chen‐xi Li and colleagues regarding our previous publication in Advanced Science. We clarify the rationale, methods, and outcomes of our original study and highlight ongoing work in the field of bacterial cancer immunotherapy.

Critical Assessment of Contact Resistance and Mobility in Tin Perovskite Field‐Effect Transistors

open access: yesAdvanced Electronic Materials, EarlyView.
Contact resistance and field‐effect transistor (FET) mobility of Cs0.15FA0.85SnI3 tin perovskites are determined using gated four‐point‐probe (4PP) FET measurements in a Hall bar geometry. The results indicate that contact resistance can significantly impact transistor characteristics, often leading to underestimation or overestimation of FET mobility ...

Depth‐Customizable 3D Electrode Array for Recording Functional Connectivity in the Brain

open access: yesAdvanced Electronic Materials, EarlyView.
In this study, a depth‐adjustable, flexible 3D multi‐shank electrode array that produces precise neural recordings at various brain depths is developed. Integrating 2D flexible electrode arrays with a modular supporting board allowed the insertion depth to be easily adjusted without re‐fabrication.
