Aptamer Engineering: Strategies for Discovering Functional Nucleic Acids for Next‐Generation Diagnostics and Biosensing

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
The advent of aptamers has highlighted their potential as alternatives to antibodies, overcoming limitations of structural instability and production cost. However, conventional approaches such as SELEX remain slow and labor‐intensive. This review examines recent advances in aptamer engineering, emphasizing in vitro and AI‐driven in silico strategies ...

Electrolyte Engineering toward Rational Electrode–Electrolyte Interfacial Designs for Metal Batteries

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
This contribution systematically discusses the philic‐phobic interface design, working principles, and regulatory strategies for interfacial issues in metal batteries. It also elaborates on the underlying mechanisms, implementation strategies, and their impacts on battery performance, while emphatically exploring the influence mechanisms of electrode ...

Metal–Organic Framework Featuring Monodispersed Silver Cation Sites for Highly Efficient and Selective Extraction of Aqueous Iodide Anions

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
A novel cationic metal–organic framework (MOF‐monoAg) featuring monodispersed silver (Ag+) sites is developed for the highly selective extraction of aqueous iodide ions (I−). MOF‐monoAg exhibits high accessibility, selectivity, and binding affinity toward I− ions, enabling superior iodine extraction from seawater and efficient iodide removal from ...

Biomimetic Multiscale‐Structured Biomass Graphene/Polyurethane Sponge Composite for Flexible Pressure Sensors and Intelligent Cushioning Materials

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
In this study, a multifunctional conductive sponge composite (MAPU) is developed using a biomimetic, hierarchical construction strategy emulating the growth process of natural wood. This approach involved integrating biomass‐derived graphitic nanoflakes, synthesized from luffa vine (LVGN), into a polyurethane (PU) sponge matrix.
