Unveiling the Capacity Boosting Mechanism of the MoS2 Electrode by Focusing on the Under Potential Deposition in All‐Solid‐State Batteries Prepared by One‐Pot One‐Step Liquid Phase Mixing

open access: yesAdvanced Sustainable Systems, EarlyView.
MoS2 electrodes with high dispersion for solid‐state rechargeable batteries is successfully fabricated by using one‐pot one‐step liquid‐phase mixing methods, which realize exfoliating MoS2, synthesizing solid electrolytes, and compositing with conductive agents in a single step. And underpotentially deposited lithium metal is observed onto the metallic

Correlation Between Fecal Microbiota and Corticosteroid Responsiveness in Primary Immune Thrombocytopenia: an Exploratory Study

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
This study uses gut microbiome data to predict corticosteroid response in patients with immune thrombocytopenia (ITP). Fecal samples from 212 patients with ITP are sequenced. Six machine‐learning algorithms are used to train predictive models. The support vector machine‐based model integrated clinical data and selected microbial species, diversities ...

Accidents

open access: yes, 2016

Assessing low-back loading during lifting using personalized electromyography-driven trunk models and NIOSH-based risk levels

open access: yesFrontiers in Bioengineering and Biotechnology
Workplace injury risk due to physically demanding tasks (e.g., repeated lifting) is currently assessed using ergonomic guidelines. The Revised NIOSH Lifting Equation (RNLE) is a commonly used approach that assesses risk of low-back loading during ...

Traffic Sign Detection System for Locating Road Intersections and Roundabouts: The Chilean Case

open access: yesSensors, 2017
This paper presents a traffic sign detection method for signs close to road intersections and roundabouts, such as stop and yield (give way) signs. The proposed method relies on statistical templates built using color information for both segmentation ...

Tumor Microenvironment Triggered In Situ Coagulation of Supramolecularly Engineered Platelets for Precise Tumor Embolization

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
Occlusion of tumor blood vessels represents a promising yet challenging approach in cancer treatment. Herein, supramolecularly engineered platelets conjugated with morphology‐transformable nanoparticles is developed for precise tumor embolization. The engineered platelets actively accumulate at tumor sites following induced blood vessel injury.
