EBBP‐Mediated Integrated Stress Response Attenuates Anthracycline‐Induced Cardiotoxicity by Inhibiting the Ferroptosis of Cardiomyocytes

EBBP expression is significantly upregulated in DOX‐treated cardiomyocytes. Mechanistically, EBBP interacts with GRP78 to mediate K63‐linked ubiquitination, thereby attenuating the inhibitory GRP78‐PERK interaction and triggering activation of the PERK‐mediated integrated stress response (ISR).

LIMK1 as a Novel Kinase of β‐Catenin Promotes Esophageal Cancer Metastasis by Cooperating With CDK5

Their study demonstrates that LIM domain kinase 1 (LIMK1) and Cyclin‐dependent kinase 5 (CDK5) synergistically increase the phosphorylation of β‐catenin, thereby activating the Wnt/β‐catenin signaling pathway to promote esophageal cancer metastasis.

Astrocytic ET‐1 System Determines Microglia Phenotype Following Spinal Cord Injury

The study reveals that astrocytic ET‐1 system is solely activated by thrombin following SCI via RhoA/NF‐κB and MAPKs/NF‐κB signal pathway. The release of astrocytic ET‐1 drives microglia polarization toward M1 phenotype through YAP signaling via ETA and ETB receptors.
