Pharmacokinetics of Accumulation
Journal of Pharmaceutical Sciences, 1968The rate and degree of drug accumulation following multiple fixed interval dosage schedules is calculated from the average plasma water concentration of drug per dosage interval. The degree of accumulation is determined by the dose, the distribution volume, the biological half-life, and the dosage interval. The rate of accumulation is mainly determined

Abstract This statutory nuisance has its origins in the earliest public health legislation. It first appeared in section 8 of the Nuisances Removal Act 1855: ‘Any Accumulation or Deposit which is a Nuisance or injurious to Health.’ It was consolidated in section 92(c) of the Public Health Act 1936: ‘any accumulation or deposit which ...

On the Sequential Accumulation of Evidence
International Journal of Computer Vision, 2001In this paper, we introduce a method for sequentially accumulating evidence as it pertains to an active observer seeking to identify an object in a known environment. We develop a probabilistic framework, based on a generalized inverse theory, where assertions are represented by conditional probability density functions.

The current issue's new challenge involves the development of a seemingly simple task of collecting integers from a given list. Yet one has to be careful. The more intuitive solution and its various patches may not be "safe". In our experience, this task is yet another example where one should be very careful with correctness and efficiency.

Accumulate repeat accumulate coded modulation
IEEE MILCOM 2004. Military Communications Conference, 2004., 2005In this paper we propose an innovative coded modulation scheme called "accumulate repeat accumulate coded modulation" (ARA coded modulation). This class of codes can be viewed as serial turbo-like codes, or as a subclass of low density parity check (LDPC) codes that are combined with high level modulation.
