Multi-field interactions simulation analysis of new hydraulic accumulator magnetorheological fluid chamber

2015 IEEE International Conference on Advanced Intelligent Mechatronics (AIM), 2015
There is a new type of hydraulic accumulator has been presented in this paper, and for the magnetorheological fluid(MRF) chamber of the new hydraulic accumulator, the modeling and the solving method for the fluid-solid interactions and magnetic- fluid interactions in the MRF chamber are provided and also studied by the finite element method.

Assessment of the possibility of DNA accumulation and transfer in a superglue chamber

Journal of Forensic Identification, 2012
Fingerprints may contain DNA, albeit generally at low levels. It is therefore a possibility that DNA may be transferred from a print or other biological material on an exhibit being fingerprinted to an unrelated article during the application of fingerprint techniques where multiple items are processed together or after each other.

Abrupt decline in the rate of accumulation of total protein and yolk in postvitellogenic egg chambers ofDrosophila

Wilhelm Roux's Archives of Developmental Biology, 1983
The accumulation of endogenously synthesized non-yolk proteins, and of exogenously derived yolk, was quantitated during oogenesis and embryogenesis ofDrosophila. Rates of non-yolk protein accumulation were calculated, and were correlated with polysome content at each developmental stage.

[Risk of accumulation of CO₂ in the oxygen chamber in "HOOD" (Experimental study on test bed)].

Annales francaises d'anesthesie et de reanimation, 2012
Oxygen hood is largely used to deliver O₂ to newborn infants with respiratory failure in the northern region of France. The oxygen flow is set to obtain the target arterial blood oxygen saturation. Thus, O₂ flow delivers into the hood may be below the recommended gas flow of 6L/min. However, gas flow below 6L/min exposes to CO₂ rebreathing.

Portable Accumulation Chambers (PAC) for Measuring Enteric Methane in Cattle

Breeding has been shown to be a viable solution for reducing methane emissions in ruminants but requires obtaining on-farm measurements of methane. One technology that has successfully been used on-farm to obtain short-term commercial methane measurements in sheep and goats is portable accumulation chambers (PAC).

Possible Mechanisms by which Combustion-Chamber Deposits Accumulate and Influence Knock

SAE Technical Paper Series, 1951
<div class="section abstract"><div class="htmlview paragraph">THREE mechanisms by which combustion-chamber deposits might increase the octane requirement of an engine are discussed in this paper. These are volume, catalysis, thermal insulation.</div><div class="htmlview paragraph">The experiments reported here indicate that the ...

Accumulation chamber method and landfill gas diffuse emissions monitoring

2008
A measurement method has been developed and applied in order to measure and help to minimize the impacts of landfills on the atmosphere and to reduce greenhouse gases emissions. The studied method is the accumulation chamber, which resulted suitable for the quantification of non collected emissions of landfill gas (LFG). The measure campaigns have been

Modeling of the nox accumulation kinetics in the combustion chamber of diesel engine

2014
The kinetics modeling of nitrogen oxides accumulation in the combustion chamber of a diesel engine is an important factor in optimizing its operation both at the design stage and in choosing the optimal composition of the fuel for environmental criteria, efficiency and durability.

Measuring Gas Exchanges of Soil and Vegetation with Large, Transparent Gas Accumulation Chambers

Direct measurements of greenhouse gas exchange between the land surface and the atmosphere are critical in developing our understanding of the underlying biogeochemical processes and in parameterizing global climate models. Gas accumulation chambers are regularly used to make localized soil gas flux measurements and there are a variety of chamber ...
