El estudio evaluó in vitro el efecto de los aceites esenciales de Schinus molle (molle) y Ocotea quixos (ishpingo) frente a la cepa bacteriana Escherichia coli ATCC 25922. Se determinó la actividad antimicrobiana de los dos aceites esenciales y se identificaron los posibles metabolitos secundarios responsables de la actividad antibacteriana.
