En este trabajo se aplica el método de saturación sólido simultáneo para obtener capas difusivas de carburos de cromo aleados con boro sobre aceros empleando la cromita cubana y el ácido bórico como aportantes de los elementos a difundir. Las mezclas saturantes se obtienen por aluminotermia de manera previa al proceso de saturación.
