Revealing the Mechanism of Exciton Spontaneous Separation at Room Temperature for Efficient Photocatalytic Hydrogen Peroxide Synthesis

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
This study identifies that replacing electron‐donating units at different positions enhances the delocalization of the electron cloud in the electron donors, which in turn increases the delocalization of the overall material. The exciton activation energy is effectively reduced, promoting the spontaneous dissociation of excitons at room temperature and

One‐Step Syntheses of Face‐Centered Cubic OsxPt1‐x/C with Near‐Zero‐Overpotential Hydrogen Evolution from Electronic‐State Engineering

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
A one‐step in situ polyol method is proposed to realize steady‐state syntheses and phase control of immiscible OsxPt1−x/C catalysts with homogeneous atomic mixing states. The overpotential at 10 mA·cm−2 of face‐centered cubic (fcc)‐Os0.3Pt0.7/C in 0.5 m H2SO4 is only 1.0 mV as the top‐level HER catalyst.

From Waste to Wealth: A Review of Eutectic Molten Salt Method for Direct Regeneration of Spent Lithium‐Ion Battery

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
The main process of the eutectic molten salt method and the direct regeneration of Spent lithium (Li)‐ion batteries by the eutectic molten salt method have brought structural, performance, environmental, and economic benefits. Abstract The rapid growth of electric vehicles (EVs) has significantly increased the demand for lithium (Li)‐ion batteries ...
