All-Inside Endoscopic Zone 1 Flexor Hallucis Longus Transfer: A Cadaveric Feasibility Study [PDF]
Background: Endoscopic flexor hallucis longus (FHL) tendon transfer addresses chronic Achilles tendon ruptures. Traditional percutaneous plantar incisions gain FHL length but risk neurovascular injury.

Ipsilateral free semitendinosus tendon graft transfer for reconstruction of chronic tears of the Achilles tendon [PDF]
Background Many techniques have been developed for the reconstruction of the Achilles tendon in chronic tears. In presence of a large gap (greater than 6 centimetres), tendon augmentation is required.

Radiographic Impact on the Clinical Decision Making of Achilles Tenotomy in Clubfoot: In Search of an Objective Cut-Off Value. [PDF]
Background: We tried to determine whether the indication of Achilles tenotomy (AT) in clubfoot patients based on clinical evaluation could be confirmed radiographically, and to find an objective radiographic cut-off value for its indication.

Effects of Ultrasound-Guided Tenotomy and Debridement on Pain, Function, and Psychological Factors for Achilles Tendinopathy: A Prospective Cohort Study. [PDF]
ABSTRACT Ultrasound‐guided tenotomy and debridement is a minimally invasive treatment with a low risk of complications for individuals with chronic Achilles tendinopathy. Yet the benefits of this procedure on pain, function, and pain‐related psychological factors, as well as predictors of treatment success, remain understudied.

Place of Achilles Tenotomy in the Treatment of Severe Intermittent Claudication [PDF]
Achilles tenotomy was performed on 66 limbs in 60 patients with severe intermittent claudication and the results were assessed two years later. Early improvement occurred in half of them but decreased to 17% two years postoperatively. Sympathectomy did not influence the result.
