In this paper, we propose a new strategy to remove arsenic from arsenic-containing waste residues by oxidation-acid leaching. The experimental results show the example is effective for different types of arsenic-containing waste residues.

Leaching Kinetics of Magnesite in Citric Acid Solutions
The solubility of magnesite ore in citric acid, an environmentally friend and natural reagent, was investigated. The effects of reaction temperature, particle size and acid concentration were examined. The leaching rate increased with decreasing particle size and with increasing temperature.
