INVESTIGATION OF THE OPTIMUM DISSOLUTION TEMPERATURES OF PHOSPHORUS IN SULPHURIC, NITRIC AND OXALIC ACID SOLUTIONS DURING LEACHING OF IRON OXIDE ORE [PDF]
Studies were carried out to determine the optimum dissolution temperatures of phosphorus in oxalic, nitric and sulphuric acid solutions during leaching of iron oxide ore.

Septin 9 polybasic domains couple phosphoinositide‐rich membrane binding to centrosome positioning, Golgi organization, and microtubule acetylation to control epithelial polarity. Their loss disrupts this axis, causing centrosome mispositioning, Golgi fragmentation, reduced microtubule acetylation, and polarity inversion via upregulation of the ...

Hygroscopic behavior was measured at 12°C over aqueous bulk solutions containing dicarboxylic acids, using a Baratron pressure transducer. Our experimental measurements of water activity for malonic acid solutions (0–10 mol/kg water) and glutaric acid ...

Acid-Induced Gelation of Carboxymethylcellulose Solutions
The present work offers a comprehensive description of the acid-induced gelation of carboxymethylcellulose (CMC), a water-soluble derivative of cellulose broadly used in numerous applications ranging from food packaging to biomedical engineering. Linear viscoelastic properties measured at various pH and CMC contents allow us to build a sol-gel phase ...

Degradation mechanism of the von Willebrand factor A2 domain by nattokinase
Nattokinase, a natto‐derived protease, exhibits potent antithrombotic effects. This study demonstrates that nattokinase directly cleaves the von Willebrand factor (vWF) A2 domain in vitro. Unlike the native regulator ADAMTS13, nattokinase degrades folded vWF independently of shear stress.

Modulation of Homer1 EVH1 domain internal dynamics by putative autism‐associated mutations
The putative autism‐associated M65I and S97L variants of the EVH1 domain of the postsynaptic scaffold protein Homer1 do not exhibit substantial changes in their overall structure or partner binding. Both of them, but especially the M65I variant, show altered internal dynamics relative to the wild‐type domain on the μs‐ms timescale, indicated by the ...

Complexation of Rh(III) in sulfuric acid solutions
The complexation in the system Rh(III) – H2SO4 – H2O at the room temperature in the dilute sulfuric acid has been studied by 103Rh and 17O NMR. The most stable species in solutions are [

We present robust protocols for the preparation of supported lipid bilayers (SLBs) incorporating either Salmonella smooth LPS or outer membrane vesicles (OMVs). We use a combination of quartz crystal microbalance with dissipation (QCM‐D) and fluorescence microscopy to both characterize the SLBs of various compositions and to probe their interactions ...

HYDROGEN ADSORPTION ON SILVER CATHODES IN PERCHLORIC ACID SOLUTIONS [PDF]
In this paper studies of overvoltage and capacitance measurements at silver cathodes in aqueous perchloric acid at room temperature are described. Capacitances were deduced from open-circuit potential decay measurements.

Recyclable tannic acid modified magnetic nanoparticles for ciprofloxacin adsorption
The rapid expansion of human and industrial activities has intensified antibiotic consumption, such as Ciprofloxacin (CIP), leading to the release of resistant compounds into aquatic systems and posing significant human health and environmental risks. In
