The paper addresses a new approach to passive acoustic cloaking, which is an alternative to the well-known approach of transformation optics. It is shown first that the scattered acoustic field of a body is completely determined by special surface impedances defined at the body surface. The surface impedances of a non-scattering, i.e.

Double-negative flexural acoustic metamaterial
We present an acoustic metamaterial for flexural waves with both negative density and elastic modulus. By means of an analytical lumped-element approach, we introduce a combination of resonant elements on the surface of a plate.

We developed an ultrasound‐controlled biomimetic nanoplatform, mRNA/V@M NPs, to co‐deliver CD74 mRNA and V‐9302 for fibrotic TNBC therapy. CD74 mRNA reprograms myCAFs into antigen‐presenting apCAF cells through the CD74‐MHC II pathway, while V‐9302 induces ICD and activates MHC I‐CD8+ T cell immunity.

Full-angle negative reflection realized by a gradient acoustic metasurface
We theoretically demonstrate that full-angle negative reflection can be realized by the gradient acoustic metasurface with a specific surface phase gradient value.

Machine Learning Driven Inverse Design of Broadband Acoustic Superscattering
Multilayer acoustic superscatterers are designed using machine learning to achieve broadband superscattering and strong sound insulation. By incorporating a weighted mean absolute error into the loss function, the forward and inverse neural networks accurately map structural parameters to spectral responses.

Design of metacontinua in the aeroacoustic spacetime
The effect of background flows on the response of acoustic metamaterials is a key aspect that prevented the full disclosure of their potential in those applications where an aerodynamic velocity field strongly influences the propagation of acoustic ...
