Simultaneous density-velocity inversion by extended Gel'fand-Levitan-Marchenko solution in layered acoustic media for oblique incidence [PDF]
Original GLM (Gel'fand-Levitan-Marchenko) theory is for scattering potential recovery of Schr\"odinger equation. In this paper, we formulate the GLM impedance solution of oblique incidence for simultaneous inversion of velocity and density including boundary jumps based on acoustic wave equation.

Mechanisms of De‐icing by Surface Rayleigh and Plate Lamb Acoustic Waves
Ice accretion impacts daily life, renewable energy generation, maintenance, and security in industries and aeronautics. Acoustic waves (AW) are a promising method for ice removal, although de‐icing mechanisms require further investigation to optimize energy efficiency.

AiResearch QCGAT engine: Acoustic test results [PDF]
The noise levels of the quiet, general aviation turbofan (QCGAT) engine were measured in ground static noise tests. The static noise levels were found to be markedly lower than the demonstrably quiet AiResearch model TFE731 engine.

On the variations of acoustic absorption peak with flow velocity in Micro-Perforated Panels at high level of excitation [PDF]
The acoustic behavior of micro-perforated panels (MPP) is studied theoretically and experimentally at high level of pressure excitation. A model based on Forcheimer's regime of flow velocity in the perforations is proposed. This model is valid at relatively high Reynolds numbers and low Mach numbers.
