A joint radar-acoustic particle filter tracker with acoustic propagation delay compensation [PDF]
In this paper, a novel particle filter tracker is presented for target tracking using collocated radar and acoustic sensors. Real-time tracking of the target's position and velocity in Cartesian coordinates is performed using batches of range and ...

Analysis of radial oscillations of gas bubbles in Newtonian or viscoelastic mediums under acoustic excitation [PDF]
Acoustic cavitation plays an important role in a broad range of biomedical, chemical and oceanic engineering problems. For example, kidney stone can be crushed into the powder (being discharged naturally) by the acoustic cavitation generated by carefully

Impedance‐Matched High‐Overtone Thickness‐Shear Bulk Acoustic Resonators With Scalable Mode Volume
A bottom‐electrode‐free high‐overtone bulk acoustic resonator is achieved by lateral excitation of antisymmetric thickness‐shear modes on a lithium‐niobate‐on‐silicon platform. Planar electrode geometry eliminates conventional loading along the resonance path and confines acoustic energy within the electrode gap.

Nuclear mechanical properties are inherently scale‐dependent, arising from a hierarchical architecture that spans DNA, chromatin, the nuclear envelope, and condensates. Experimental techniques and theoretical models are integrated into a cohesive multiscale framework linking nanoscale structural features to organelle‐level mechanical behavior.
