Relations Among Aftereffects of Acoustic Stimulation
The Journal of the Acoustical Society of America, 1967In Expt. 1, six women were given 12 separate tests of short-duration auditory adaptation. Correlations among subjects showed that two subgroups existed, one pair differing from the others in exhibiting an interaction between stimulus strength/duration and slope of recovery.

The nonstress test is the most widely employed method of fetal health assessment. The current approach is to use the OCT or biophysical profile as a means of identifying the fetus at very high risk should the nonstress test be either nonreassuring or equivocal.

A tone pulse generator for acoustic stimulation
Medical & Biological Engineering, 1969A tone pulse generator is described, primarily intended for use as the stimulus source for Evoked Response Audiometry. The most interesting features are the electronic switch, using field-effect-transistors, and the triggering circuits with a random period mode incorporated.

Stimulator for Complex Acoustic Waveforms
The Journal of the Acoustical Society of America, 1964An audio-tone-burst stimulator has been designed that employs a Hall-effect multiplier. This instrument produces modulation of the audio tone(s) by the desired envelope signal. An envelope-waveform generator is used that can deliver to the modulator a choice of either a Gaussian pulse, a triangle, trapezoid, or trapezoidal pulse with Gaussian leading ...
