A full‐domain 3D digital twin of a standing surface acoustic wave (SSAW) device on 128° YX LiNbO3 is developed and experimentally validated. The predictive power of the model is confirmed by electrical characterisation and laser Doppler vibrometry measurements, which show excellent agreement with simulations.

Manipulation of acoustic localizations based on defect mode coupling in a corrugated waveguide
Defects in periodic structures can always result in localization of various waves, such as Anderson localization, line defect photonic crystal waveguides, and locally resonant sonic metamaterials. Due to the unique physical properties of localization, it

Brillouin‐Raman Microspectroscopy on‐a‐Chip (BRmS) enables real‐time analysis of breast tumor spheroids in microfluidic channels. Following cyclical deformations, MCF10.DCIS.com spheroids are captured in recovery traps and imaged with BRmS. The applied deformations trigger a stiffening response marked by increased frequency shifts, elevation of the ...

Quadrupole Interaction of Non-diffracting Beams with Two-Level Atoms
Recently it has been shown that the quadrupole interactions can be improved significantly as the atom interacts at near resonance with the Laguerre-Gaussian (LG) mode.
