The Journal of the Acoustical Society of America, 2009 Acoustic metafluids are defined as the class of fluids that allow one domain of fluid to acoustically mimic another, as exemplified by acoustic cloaks. It is shown that the most general class of acoustic metafluids are materials with anisotropic inertia and the elastic properties of what are known as pentamode materials.

Microbubble Shell Stiffness Engineering Enhances Ultrasound Imaging, Drug Delivery, and Sonoporation
Advanced Materials, EarlyView.Shell‐engineered poly(alkyl cyanoacrylate) microbubbles with tunable stiffness improve ultrasound imaging and therapy. Adjusting the length of the alkyl chain and the glass transition temperature maintains a narrow microbubble size distribution while enhancing drug loading, sonoporation and the acoustic response.

A Soft Microrobot for Single‐Cell Transport, Spheroid Assembly, and Dual‐Mode Drug Screening
Advanced Materials, EarlyView.A soft, untethered hydrogel microrobot enables precise single‐cell delivery, self‐assembly into 3D spheroids, and real‐time thermal actuation. Driven by light‐induced convection and embedded with gold nanorods and temperature sensors, the microrobot guides cells, modulates local microenvironments, and supports drug testing.
