Theory and Practice of Action Semantics
Action Semantics is a framework for the formal description
of programming languages. Its main advantage over other frameworks
is pragmatic: action-semantic descriptions (ASDs) scale up smoothly to
realistic programming languages.

In Situ Graph Reasoning and Knowledge Expansion Using Graph‐PRefLexOR
Graph‐PRefLexOR is a novel framework that enhances language models with in situ graph reasoning, symbolic abstraction, and recursive refinement. By integrating graph‐based representations into generative tasks, the approach enables interpretable, multistep reasoning.

Underlying Semantics for Action and Change with Ramification [PDF]
In earlier publications addressing logics of actions and change, we have developed an underlying semantics for the special case of strict inertia, and used it for assessment of the range of applicability of a number of entailment methods. The case of strict inertia does not allow for ramification, qualifications, or surprises.

Combining machine learning and probabilistic statistical learning is a powerful way to discover and design new materials. A variety of machine learning approaches can be used to identify promising candidates for target applications, and causal inference can help identify potential ways to make them a reality.

Semantic discrimination of technicality in French nominalizations
French suffixations in -age, -ion and -ment are considered roughly equivalent, yet some differences have been pointed out regarding the semantics of the resulting nominalizations.

At the mercy of strategies: the role of motor representations in language understanding
Classical cognitive theories hold that word representations in the brain are abstract and amodal, and are independent of the objects’ sensorimotor properties they refer to.
