Direct recyling of Li‐ion battery materials promises a low‐cost path towards a secure domestic supply of critical materials for batteries. Using cathode material from an end‐of‐life commercial Li‐ion cell, this work identifies the primary degradation mechanisms that diminish the performance of directly reused cathode materials and includes a discussion

Semantically Guided Representation Learning For Action Anticipation [PDF]
Action anticipation is the task of forecasting future activity from a partially observed sequence of events. However, this task is exposed to intrinsic future uncertainty and the difficulty of reasoning upon interconnected actions. Unlike previous works that focus on extrapolating better visual and temporal information, we concentrate on learning ...

MALA: Cross-Domain Dialogue Generation with Action Learning [PDF]
Response generation for task-oriented dialogues involves two basic components: dialogue planning and surface realization. These two components, however, have a discrepancy in their objectives, i.e., task completion and language quality. To deal with such discrepancy, conditioned response generation has been introduced where the generation process is ...

Read Operators and their Expressiveness in Process Algebras
We study two different ways to enhance PAFAS, a process algebra for modelling asynchronous timed concurrent systems, with non-blocking reading actions. We first add reading in the form of a read-action prefix operator. This operator is very flexible, but

Underlying Semantics for Action and Change with Ramification [PDF]
In earlier publications addressing logics of actions and change, we have developed an underlying semantics for the special case of strict inertia, and used it for assessment of the range of applicability of a number of entailment methods. The case of strict inertia does not allow for ramification, qualifications, or surprises.
