Variational Discrete Action Theory

open access: yesPhysical Review Letters, 2021
Here we propose the Variational Discrete Action Theory (VDAT) to study the ground state properties of quantum many-body Hamiltonians. VDAT is a variational theory based on the sequential product density matrix (SPD) ansatz, characterized by an integer $\mathcal{N}$, which monotonically approaches the exact solution with increasing $\mathcal{N}$.

Action Regulation Theory

open access: yes, 2021
Action regulation theory addresses the cognitive regulation of actions. Action regulation is taking place on three levels: automated regulation, flexible action patterns, and intellectual regulation. These regulation levels are activated on an as-needed basis in order to sequentially perform actions contributing to achievement of goals and sub goals ...

How Internal Political Efficacy Translates Political Knowledge Into Political Participation

open access: yesEurope's Journal of Psychology, 2016
This study presents evidence for the mediation effect of political knowledge through political self-efficacy (i.e. internal political efficacy) in the prediction of political participation. It employs an action theoretic approach—by and large grounded on

Cubic action in double field theory

open access: yesNuclear Physics B, 2021
We study target space theory on a torus for the states with NL+NR=2 through Double Field Theory. The spin-two Fierz-Pauli fields are not allowed when all spatial dimensions are non-compact.

European Standard Clinical Practice Guideline and EXPeRT Recommendations for the Diagnosis and Management of Gastroenteropancreatic Neuroendocrine Neoplasms in Children and Adolescents

open access: yesPediatric Blood &Cancer, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT Pediatric gastroenteropancreatic neuroendocrine neoplasms (GEP‐NENs) are extremely rare and clinically heterogeneous. Management has largely been extrapolated from adult practice. This European Standard Clinical Practice Guideline (ESCP), developed by the EXPeRT network in collaboration with adult NEN experts, provides (adult) evidence ...

Parent Quality of Life at Two Years Following Their Child's Completion of Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia Treatment

open access: yesPediatric Blood &Cancer, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT Background Parents of children treated for acute lymphoblastic leukemia (ALL) often experience significant caregiver burden and disruption to their well‐being. While parent quality of life (QoL) during treatment is well characterized, little is known about outcomes during early survivorship.
