A Novel Noncomplementary Active Clamp Flyback Control Technique

2019 IEEE Applied Power Electronics Conference and Exposition (APEC), 2019
This paper proposes an innovative non-complementary control method for an active clamp flyback converter. The proposed method recovers the leakage inductance energy and achieves soft switching for all the switches, while obtaining a lower RMS current compared to previous complementary or noncomplementary active clamp flyback control methods.

Ultrahigh step-down converter with active clamp

2017 IEEE 3rd International Future Energy Electronics Conference and ECCE Asia (IFEEC 2017 - ECCE Asia), 2017
In this paper, the ultrahigh step-down converter with an active clamp circuit is proposed. With the active clamp circuit, the voltage spike across the central-tapped switch can be suppressed. The switches can achieve zero-voltage-switching (ZVS) turn-on or zero-current-switching (ZCS) turn-off. Finally, theoretical analysis and experimental results are

A Multi-MHz Active Clamp Topology for High Cost-Performance Wireless Power Transfer

IEEE transactions on power electronics, 2022
The single-switch topologies, e.g., the Class E topology, have the advantages of low component count, no shoot-through problem, simple driving circuit, which make it more suitable for high frequency low/medium-power wireless power transfer (WPT ...

A Novel Modulation Scheme for Isolated PWM Active-Clamp Ćuk DC/DC Converter

IEEE transactions on power electronics, 2022
A novel modulation scheme for a bidirectional isolated pulsewidth modulation active-clamp (PAC)-Ćuk converter is presented in this article. In the PAC-Ćuk converter, the clamping circuit consisting of a capacitor, a series inductor, and an active device ...
