Individualism and working from home
Economic Inquiry, EarlyView.Abstract We show that culturally transmitted individualism is an important determinant of working from home (WFH). Using individual‐level data from the U.S. Current Population Survey (CPS) and the European Social Survey (ESS), we compare immigrants and their descendants from different cultural backgrounds residing in the same location.

Productivity dynamics among union locals in the United States
Economic Inquiry, EarlyView.Abstract Using panel data on union locals in the United States we examine the dynamics of the union sector, investigating the impact of inter‐union competition on locals' productivity and survival. We find low entry rates, high exit rates and high levels of productivity dispersion in the sector.
