A Deadbeat PI Controller With Modified Feedforward for PMSM Under Low Carrier Ratio
When the permanent magnet synchronous motor (PMSM) operates at low carrier ratio, the decoupling capability and dynamic performance of the proportional-integral (PI) controller are limited by the digitization delay.

On The Distribution of Penultimate Activations of Classification Networks
This paper studies probability distributions of penultimate activations of classification networks. We show that, when a classification network is trained with the cross-entropy loss, its final classification layer forms a Generative-Discriminative pair with a generative classifier based on a specific distribution of penultimate activations.

Backward Step-Up Control Strategy for Bidirectional LLC Resonant Converter
An LLC resonant converter has the advantages of simple structure and soft switching. It can enable bidirectional power transmission, but it is difficult to realize a normalized gain greater than one under backward mode (backward step-up mode).

Active networks for efficient distributed network management [PDF]
The emerging next generation of routers exhibit both high performance and rich functionality, such as support for virtual private networks and QoS. To achieve this, per-flow queuing and fast IP filtering are incorporated into the router hardware. The management of a network comprising such devices and efficient use of the new functionality introduce ...

Distributed Agreement on Activity Driven Networks [PDF]
In this paper, we investigate asymptotic properties of a consensus protocol taking place in a class of temporal (i.e., time-varying) networks called the activity driven network. We first show that a standard methodology provides us with an estimate of the convergence rate toward the consensus, in terms of the eigenvalues of a matrix whose computational

Distributed computation and reconfiguration in actively dynamic networks [PDF]
AbstractWe study here systems of distributed entities that can actively modify their communication network. This gives rise to distributed algorithms that apart from communication can also exploit network reconfiguration to carry out a given task. Also, the distributed task itself may now require a global reconfiguration from a given initial network ...
