The effect of multi‐leaf collimator leaf width on VMAT treatment plan quality
Abstract Background The advent of volumetric modulated arc therapy (VMAT) in radiotherapy has made it one of the most commonly used techniques in clinical practice. VMAT is the delivery of intensity modulated radiation therapy (IMRT) while the gantry is in motion, and existing literature has shown it has decreased treatment delivery times and the ...

CRACKS: Crowdsourcing Resources for Analysis and Categorization of Key Subsurface faults [PDF]
Crowdsourcing annotations has created a paradigm shift in the availability of labeled data for machine learning. Availability of large datasets has accelerated progress in common knowledge applications involving visual and language data. However, specialized applications that require expert labels lag in data availability. One such application is fault

Possible role of crustal flexure in the initial detachment of extensional allochthons [PDF]
The existence of low-angle normal faults indicates that the ratio of shear stress (TAU) to normal stress (sigma sub N) needed to cause slip on faults is substantially less than would be predicted based on experimental data. Because the tensional strength

Abstract The thermoluminescence dosimeter (TLD) sheet is a measurement device coated with manganese‐doped LiB3O5 in sheet form. The sheet is 0.2‐mm thick and flexible. Hence, it can fit and be installed on irregular surfaces. The current study aimed to evaluate the feasibility of measuring patient surface doses during radiation therapy using TLD sheets.
