On Optimizing Feedback-Rate Allocation for Downlink MIMO-NOMA With Quantized CSIT
We consider multiple-input multiple output (MIMO) non-orthogonal multiple access (NOMA) downlink channels with zeroforcing beamforming transmission. The base station has multiple transmit antennas while all mobile devices have single receive antenna ...

Tunable grating with active feedback [PDF]
We report on the use of capacitive self-sensing to operate a DEA-based tunable grating in closed-loop mode. Due to their large strain capabilities, DEAs are key candidates for tunable optics applications. However, the viscoelasticity of elastomers is detrimental for applications that require long-term stability, such as tunable gratings and lenses.

Dissociation between active and observational learning from positive and negative feedback in Parkinsonism. [PDF]
Feedback to both actively performed and observed behaviour allows adaptation of future actions. Positive feedback leads to increased activity of dopamine neurons in the substantia nigra, whereas dopamine neuron activity is decreased following negative ...

Efferent feedback controls bilateral auditory spontaneous activity [PDF]
AbstractIn the developing auditory system, spontaneous activity generated in the cochleae propagates into the central nervous system to promote circuit formation. The effects of peripheral firing patterns on spontaneous activity in the central auditory system are not well understood.

Active versus passive training of a complex bimanual task: is prescriptive proprioceptive information sufficient for inducing motor learning? [PDF]
Perceptual processes play an important role in motor learning. While it is evident that visual information greatly contributes to learning new movements, much less is known about provision of prescriptive proprioceptive information. Here, we investigated

Feedback: Stock Trading Activity

A Low-Noise CMOS Transimpedance-Limiting Amplifier for Dynamic Range Extension
This paper presents a low-noise CMOS transimpedance-limiting amplifier (CTLA) for application in LiDAR sensor systems. The proposed CTLA employs a dual-feedback architecture that combines the passive and active feedback mechanisms simultaneously, thereby
