A Survey of MMIC Active Filters [PDF]
High-Q filters are a critical component in many systems. However, high-Q filters require very low-loss passive elements that are not compatible with monolithic technology. Therefore, filters are often implemented as off-chip components. Tunable high-Q filters require even larger space and weight, and are usually quite bulky.

A Novel (DDCC-SFG)-Based Systematic Design Technique of Active Filters [PDF]
This paper proposes a novel idea for the synthesis of active filters that is based on the use of signal-flow graph (SFG) stamps of differential difference current conveyors (DDCCs).

Biquadratic Filter Applications Using a Fully-Differential Active-Only Integrator [PDF]
A new class of active filters, real active-only filters is described and possible implementation issues of these filters are discussed. To remedy these issues, a fully-differential active-only integrator block built around current controlled current ...

Digital simulation of a hybrid active filter-an active filter in series with a shunt passive filter [PDF]
Active filters have long been in use for the filtering of power system load harmonics. In this paper, the digital simulation results of a hybrid active power filter system for a rectifier load are presented. The active filter is used for filtering higher order harmonics as the dominant harmonics are filtered by the passive filter.

Research on Oscillation Suppression Methods in Shunt Active Power Filter System
The shunt active power filter (SAPF) system oscillation is a massive threat to the security and stability of the power grid. This study classifies SAPF oscillation into two categories according to the difference in mechanisms. The SAPF oscillation in one

Active power filter with enhanced echo state network in radar power supply system
There have been concerns raised on load non‐linearity as more and more load types are being introduced into the radar power supply system. The non‐linear load produces harmonic current while it seriously threatens the normal and safe operation ...
