Experimental Performance Evaluation of a Multi-Reference Algorithm for Active Control of Propeller-Induced Cabin Noise

open access: yes, 2000
A noisy environment dominated by low frequency noise can often be improved through the use of active noise control. This situation arises naturally in propeller aircraft where the propellers induce periodic low frequency noise inside the cabin ...

Dual‐Inductive and Programmable Switching: A New Paradigm in Ionic Interface‐Controlled Perovskite Memory

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
A fully programmable, dual‐inductive switchable halide perovskite memristor is demonstrated through precise BDAI2‐mediated interface engineering. This ion‐modulating layer suppresses stochastic filamentary growth, enabling stable, non‐filamentary switching via dynamic barrier modulation.

Smart double panel with decentralised active dampers for control of sound transmission

open access: yes, 2007
This report presents the results of a theoretical study of active sound transmission control through a double panel. The double panel material and geometrical properties have been chosen so as to emulate section of an aircraft fuselage, or bodywork of a ...

Near‐Infrared Light‐Driven Zn/Au Janus Micromotors for Multiplex SERS Detection of Anticancer Drugs

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
Zn/Au Janus micromotors, propelled by thermophoretic effects under NIR light, function as active SERS platforms for single and multiplex detection of anticancer drugs. Their dynamic motion enhances analyte exchange at the Au interface, reducing saturation and competitive adsorption, thereby improving sensitivity and extending the linear detection range.

Polarity‐Reversible Photoresponse–Driven Autonomous Wavelength Discrimination in Quantum Dot–Tellurium Thin‐Film Photodetectors via Engineered Energy‐Band Alignment

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
A quantum dot–tellurium thin‐film photodetector autonomously discriminates visible and infrared wavelengths through polarity‐reversible photoresponses. Engineered carrier separation and gain modulation enable filter‐free multispectral sensing within a single‐device architecture.

Optimizing the placement of microphones and loudspeakers in an aeroplane mounted active noise control system using stochastic search methods

open access: yes, 1998
In an aircraft the weight of the active noise control (ANC) system is a critical property. Therefore one aims at minimizing the number of microphones and loudspeakers. In doing so, only a reduced number of sensors and actuators may be used. Only recently
