Analysis of Local and Centralized Control of PV Inverters for Voltage Support in Distribution Feeders [PDF]

open access: yes, 2021
Higher photovoltaic penetration on distribution system brings operational challenges including overvoltage issues. With smart inverters, efficient voltage control can be achieved through adjusting active/reactive powers of inverters.

Medium-term forecasting of active power curtailment from MV/LV transformer loadings with an increasing capacity of PV panels [PDF]

open access: yes, 2022
Driven by the energy transition, the electricity generated by photovoltaic panels connected by customers behind-the-meter is annually increasing. This is expected to lead to congestion of medium to low voltage (MV/LV) transformers because the related ...

Research on local voltage control strategy based on high-penetration distributed PV systems

open access: yesThe Journal of Engineering, 2019
With the high-penetration distributed photovoltaic (PV) systems accessed to a distribution network, the peak active power output of PV systems is always greater than the total local load demands, which might lead to the issues of overvoltage and reverse ...

Optimal Allocation of Hybrid Energy Storage Systems for Smoothing Photovoltaic Power Fluctuations Considering the Active Power Curtailment of Photovoltaic

open access: yesIEEE Access, 2019
Hybrid energy storage systems (HESSs) have become an effective solution for smoothing the active power variations of photovoltaic (PV). In order to reduce the required capacities and costs of the HESS, a coordinated control scheme is developed to ...

Impact of active power curtailment on overvoltage prevention and energy production of PV inverters connected to low voltage residential feeders [PDF]

open access: yes, 2011
As non-controllable power sources, photovoltaics (PV) can create overvoltage in low voltage (LV) distribution feeders during periods of high generation and low load.

Heterozygous loss‐of‐function alleles associate the conserved 3′‐5′ exoribonuclease EXOSC10 with hypersensitivity to the anticancer drug 5‐fluorouracil

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
EXOSC10, an essential nuclear RNA exosome‐associated 3′‐5′ exoribonuclease, is inhibited by the anticancer drug 5‐fluorouracil (5‐FU), and EXOSC10 depletion increases 5‐FU sensitivity. The colon‐cancer variant EXOSC10S402T, located in a proteolysis motif, is stable and nuclear but nonfunctional in vivo.
