A Hybrid Active Filter Using the Backstepping Controller for Harmonic Current Compensation [PDF]

open access: yes, 2019
This document presents a new hybrid combination of filters using passive and active elements because of the generalization in the use of non-linear loads that generate harmonics directly affecting the symmetry of energy transmission systems that ...

Transcriptional network analysis of PTEN‐protein‐deficient prostate tumors reveals robust stromal reprogramming and signs of senescent paracrine communication

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
Combining PTEN protein assessment and transcriptomic profiling of prostate tumors, we uncovered a network enriched in senescence and extracellular matrix (ECM) programs associated with PTEN loss and conserved in a mouse model. We show that PTEN‐deficient cells trigger paracrine remodeling of the surrounding stroma and this information could help ...

Design strategy for the combined system of shunt passive and series active filters [PDF]

open access: yes, 1991
A design strategy for the combined power filter for a three-phase twelve-pulse thyristor rectifier is proposed. The shunt passive filter, which can minimize the output voltage of the series active filter, is designed and tested in a prototype model.

Cell surface interactome analysis identifies TSPAN4 as a negative regulator of PD‐L1 in melanoma

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
Using cell surface proximity biotinylation, we identified tetraspanin TSPAN4 within the PD‐L1 interactome of melanoma cells. TSPAN4 negatively regulates PD‐L1 expression and lateral mobility by limiting its interaction with CMTM6 and promoting PD‐L1 degradation.

LDAcoop: Integrating non‐linear population dynamics into the analysis of clonogenic growth in vitro

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
Limiting dilution assays (LDAs) quantify clonogenic growth by seeding serial dilutions of cells and scoring wells for colony formation. The fraction of negative wells is plotted against cells seeded and analyzed using the non‐linear modeling of LDAcoop.

A control strategy for a three-phase four-wire shunt active filter [PDF]

open access: yes, 2008
This paper presents a control strategy for a three- phase four-wire shunt active filter. The shunt active filter is a custom-power device capable to compensate, in real time, harmonics, unbalances and power factor in an electrical installation.

Hybrid Active Power Filter for Power Quality Improvement

open access: yesInternational Journal of Innovative Research in Computer Science & Technology, 2022
A Deadbeat current controller for an LC-coupling hybrid active power filter is proposed, which can track with the reference compensation current with low steady- state error and fast dynamic response. Moreover, it can lead Hybrid Active power Filter to be operating at a fixed switching frequency with low output current ripples, thus reducing the size ...
