Tunable wide-band second-order all-pass filter-based time delay cell using active inductor [PDF]

open access: yes, 2017
This paper presents a CMOS RF second-order voltage-mode all-pass filter (APF) as a time delay cell. The proposed filter benefits from a simple structure; consisting of one transistor, three resistors, and one grounded capacitor and inductor.

Boosting Photo‐Pyroelectric Effect via Tunable Polarization and Interfacial Defect Engineering

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
This study reports Ba(Ti0.85Zr0.15)O3 nanocatalysts with enhanced polarization and oxygen‐vacancy‐rich interfaces for efficient NIR‐II photo‐pyroelectric therapy. Zr doping boosts the pyroelectric coefficient and accelerates polarization switching, while oxygen vacancies improve photothermal conversion and surface reactivity.

An Improved Frequency-Adaptive Virtual Variable Sampling-Based Repetitive Control for an Active Power Filter

open access: yesEnergies, 2022
To eliminate the harmonics caused by nonlinear loads, repetitive controllers are widely applied as current controllers for active power filters (APF). In practice, a variation in grid frequency leads to the appearance of a fractional-order delay filter ...

An Active Power Filter Based on a Three-Level Inverter and 3D-SVPWM for Selective Harmonic and Reactive Compensation

open access: yesEnergies, 2017
Active Power Filters (APFs) have been used for reducing waveform distortion and improving power quality. However, this function can be improved by means of a selective harmonic compensation.

The suppression of DC‐link voltage fluctuations through a source active current feedforward in the active power filter

open access: yesIET Power Electronics, 2021
An active power filter (APF), which operates under the power‐balance‐based scheme (PB scheme), suffers heavier DC‐link voltage fluctuation when the loads change suddenly, so that it is apt to be interfered and degraded or even out of stable operation. By

Disturbance‐Resilient Voltage/Power‐Quality Management for Islanded Inverters Using Self‐Tuning Type‐3 Fuzzy Controller

open access: yesEnergy Science &Engineering, EarlyView.
An adaptive fuzzy controller using an interval type‐3 fuzzy logic system replaces the SMC switching term to mitigate chattering while preserving global stability for islanded inverters. Simulations show lower THD, greater robustness to disturbances and parameter variations, and improved voltage‐tracking accuracy, with applicability to other uncertain ...
