Driving Component Selection through Actor-Oriented Models and Use Cases

This paper reports results from a retrospective application of the REACT approach to COTS selection for a real-world financial planning, forecasting and budgeting application. We derived actor-oriented models from existing use cases to represent the architecture of the system.
