Transcutaneous oxymetry measurements during acute blood loss

Annals of Emergency Medicine, 1982
Transcutaneous PO2 (TcPO2) was measured in healthy adult blood donors to test the sensitivity of this method as a noninvasive means of diagnosing occult blood loss. TcPO2, the energy required to heat the electrode (MW), and postural changes in blood pressure and pulse, were measured before and after a 450-ml blood donation.

Regulatory activity of Kupffer cells in acute blood loss

Bulletin of Experimental Biology and Medicine, 1995
The scavenger function of Kupffer cells and the erythropoietinlike, granulocyte-macrophage colony-stimulating, and leukocyte- and lymphocyte-stimulating activities of extracts of Kupffer cells obtained before and at different times after acute massive blood loss were experimentally evaluated on mice. Extracts of Kupffer cells from normal mice are shown

[Postinfusion complications by acute blood loss].

Khirurgiia, 2011
Highs and lows of infusion therapy for the treatment of the acute blood loss were studied experimentally and in clinic. Colloid and crystalloid solutions, being hemodilutants, do not transport oxygen, causing, therefore, several complications in recipient's organism. Dilutional anemic and lead to heart insufficiency, which, by-turn, cause the so called

[Pathophysiologic studies in acute blood loss].

Eksperimentalna meditsina i morfologiia, 1975
The authors induced acute blood loss in dogs and examined the changes in hemodynamics, hemodilution, blood coagulation acid-base balance and tissue respiration. They found that the most favourable hours for initial renimation were the first two hours. They used the Bulgarian plasma substitute reoisodex with very good effect on the indicated parameters ...

[The use of mafusol in acute blood loss].

Voenno-meditsinskii zhurnal, 1995
Mafusol is a crystalloid solution, containing sodium fumarat and possessing antihypoxic bioenergetic ability. It was used for the correction of acute hypovolemia in infusion-transfusion therapy. Mafusol in a dose of 800-1600 ml reliably prevents the development of metabolic acidosis.

[The treatment of acute massive blood loss].

Voenno-meditsinskii zhurnal, 2008
The article represents a report made by P.G. Bryusov at the 42th World Congress of Surgeons that took place in Montreal (Canada) in the August 26-30, 2007. The work based on the author's great clinical and experimental experience shows the pathophysiologic causes of severe disorders occurred in the organism during the massive blood loss the result in ...
