ABSTRACT Tirzepatide dose escalation may precipitate functional small bowel obstruction that mimics mechanical obstruction, even in surgically naïve patients. Careful medication review and objective tools such as the water‐soluble contrast challenge can support safe non‐operative management and help avoid unnecessary surgical intervention.
