Anatoliosides: Five Novel Acyclic Monoterpene Glylcosides from Viburnum orientale
Helvetica Chimica Acta, 1993AbstractFive new acyclic monoterpene glycosides 1–5 were isolated from the leaves of Viburnum orientale (Caprifoliaceae). Anatolioside (1) is a monoterpene diglycoside and its structure was elucidated as linalo‐6‐yl 2′‐O‐(α‐L‐rhamnopyranosyl)β‐D‐glucopyranoside (arbitrary numbering of linalool moiety). Compounds 2–5 are all derivatives of 1, containing

Metabolism of structurally modified acyclic monoterpenes by Pseudomonas incognita
Canadian Journal of Microbiology, 1984The ability of Pseudomonas incognita to metabolize some structurally modified acyclic monoterpenes was tested. The 6,7 double bond was found essential for these compounds to serve as a substrate for this organism, whereas the same was not true with the 1,2 double bond.

Linarionosides A–C and acyclic monoterpene diglucosides from Linaria japonica
Phytochemistry, 1994Abstract On further investigation of a methanol extract of Linaria japonica , five new compounds were isolated. Three of them were ionol glucosides, named linarionosides A–C, and the structures of the remaining compounds were elucidated to be 6,7-dihydrofoliamenthoic acid diglucoside [( E )-( R )-2,6-dimethyl-8-hydroxyoct-2-enoic acid β- d ...
