Seasonal and Spatial Dynamics of Alate Aphid Dispersal in Snap Bean Fields in Proximity to Alfalfa and Implications for Virus Management [PDF]

open access: yes, 2017
Alfalfa is a source for viruses that may be acquired by aphids and transmitted to snap bean, Phaseolus vulgaris L. Snap bean fields in proximity to alfalfa could have an increased risk of virus infection.

The influence of plant fertilisation regime on plant-aphid-parasitoid interactions [PDF]

open access: yes, 2003
This thesis examines effects of plant fertilisation regime on herbivore and parasitoid performance for two aphids, Macrosiphum euphorbiae and Myzus persicae, and one parasitoid wasp, Aphidius ervi. Herbivore performance was measured as adult fresh weight

Identificazione rapida degli stadi giovanili di Acyrthosiphon pisum (Harris) (Homoptera Aphidoidea)

open access: yes
A key for larval instars discrimination of the pea aphid, Acyrthosiphon pisum (Harris) is here presented. The key is based on characters that are easily detectable in living aphids, feeding on their usual substratum. First and second instar have 5-segmented antennae, but the second instar shows a dark band at the 3rd antennal segment.
