Engineered GM1 Intersects Between Mitochondrial and Synaptic Pathways to Ameliorate ALS Pathology

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis (ALS) is a fatal neurodegenerative disease driven by genetic and molecular disruptions affecting energy balance, protein homeostasis, and stress responses in nerve cells. Studies using human and rodent models identified convergent defects in mitochondria and synaptic function.

Evaluation of efficient vehicular ad hoc networks based on a maximum distance routing algorithm [PDF]

open access: yes, 2016
Traffic management at road intersections is a complex requirement that has been an important topic of research and discussion. Solutions have been primarily focused on using vehicular ad hoc networks (VANETs).

pH/ROS‐Responsive Injectable Hydrogel Co‐Loaded with B7‐H3 Blocker and NETs Suppressor Boosts OSCC Synergistic Immunotherapy

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
A pH/ROS‐dual‐responsive injectable hydrogel, formed by dynamic boronic ester and Schiff base crosslinking, co‐delivers enoblituzumab (B7‐H3 blocker) and Cl‐amidine (NETs suppressor). Via localized intratumoral delivery, it synergistically reprograms the immunosuppressive tumor microenvironment, overcomes T cell infiltration barriers, restores ...

Hybrid wireless mesh protocol

open access: yesTongxin xuebao, 2009
Hybrid wireless mesh protocol(HWMP), the default routing protocol of IEEE 802.11s, was described.HWMP provided two routing modes:on-demand and proactive. An efficient cooperation method of the two routing modes was proposed. It was implemented and its ...

TAD-HOC Routing Protocol for Efficient VANET and Infrastructure-Oriented Communication Network

open access: yesJournal of Engineering, 2020
Intelligent Transportation System (ITS) is a critical factor for Vehicular Ad hoc Networks (VANET). Even though VANET belongs to the class of Mobile Ad hoc Network (MANET), none of the MANET routing protocol applies to VANET.

Analysis and Modeling Experiment Performance Parameters of Routing Protocols in MANETs and VANETs [PDF]

open access: yes, 2012
In this paper, a framework for experimental parameters in which Packet Delivery Ratio (PDR), effect of link duration over End-to-End Delay (E2ED) and Normalized Routing Overhead (NRO) in terms of control packets is analyzed and modeled for Mobile Ad-Hoc ...

CRP Deficiency Rescues Periodontitis‐Induced Hippocampal Neurogenesis Impairment by Suppressing OPC‐Derived BMP4 Signaling in Rats

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
Chronic periodontitis elevates circulating CRP, which enters the hippocampus to upregulate BMP4 in oligodendrocyte precursor cells (OPCs), thereby impairing neurogenesis and inducing anxiety/depression‐like behaviors in rats. Counteracting this pathway, CRP deficiency helps confer functional resilience to OPCs.

A comparative study of reactive, proactive and hybrid routing protocol in wireless sensor network under wormhole attack

open access: yesJournal of Electrical Systems and Information Technology, 2018
Nowadays, ZigBee communication protocol is one of the dominating standards for wireless sensor & ad-hoc networks and Internet of Things (IoT) networks. Even though the ZigBee standard was formed with security in mind and lower consumption of power, still

Performance Analysis of AD-HOC on-Demand Distance Vector Routing Protocol

open access: yesIndian Journal of Science and Technology, 2016
Background/objectives: The performance of the Ad-hoc On-demand Distance Vector routing protocol is analyzed by simulation in this paper. Method/Statistical Analysis: The simulation is developed employing the libraries provided by the simulator. The simulation is developed to model the communication of multimedia packets in an ad hoc wireless network
