Causal Prediction of TP53 Variant Pathogenicity Using a Perturbation‐Informed Protein Language Model

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
A TP53‐specific predictor, CaVepP53, is developed by fine‐tuning ESMC on experimentally validated variants, quantifying pathogenicity via Euclidean distances. It outperforms general‐purpose models and extends to five cancer genes, enabling interpretable variant classification for precision medicine.

UV cross-linked polyvinylpyrrolidone electrospun fibres as antibacterial surfaces

open access: yesScience and Technology of Advanced Materials, 2019
Many bacteria become progressively more resistant to antibiotics and it remains a challenging task to control their overall levels. Polymers combined with active biomolecules come to the forefront for the design of antibacterial materials that can ...

GPCRs in CAR‐T Cell Immunotherapy: Expanding the Target Landscape and Enhancing Therapeutic Efficacy

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
Chimeric antigen receptor T cell therapy faces dual challenges of target scarcity and an immunosuppressive microenvironment in solid tumors. This review highlights how G protein‐coupled receptors can serve as both novel targets to expand the therapeutic scope and functional modules to enhance CAR‐T cell efficacy.

Neural Fields for Highly Accelerated 2D Cine Phase Contrast MRI

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT 2D cine phase contrast (CPC) MRI provides quantitative information on blood velocity and flow within the human vasculature. However, data acquisition is time‐consuming, motivating the reconstruction of the velocity field from undersampled measurements to reduce scan times. In this work, neural fields are proposed as a continuous spatiotemporal

Learnable Diffusion Framework for Mouse V1 Neural Decoding

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
We introduce Sensorium‐Viz, a diffusion‐based framework for reconstructing high‐fidelity visual stimuli from mouse primary visual cortex activity. By integrating a novel spatial embedding module with a Diffusion Transformer (DiT) and a synthetic‐response augmentation strategy, our model outperforms state‐of‐the‐art fMRI‐based baselines, enabling robust

Macrophage Extracellular Traps in Immunity and Cancer

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
As a macrophage‐mediated innate defense mechanism, the dysregulated release of METs drives chronic inflammation and influences tumor progression. Furthermore, METs exhibit a functional duality within the tumor microenvironment, capable of both promoting and suppressing tumor development.

Adam & Ève

open access: yesLes Cahiers de l'APLIUT, 1990
Mastering a larger lexicon is one of the major steps in moving towards a more advanced level. Numerous exercices are then necessary. The computer can tremendously facilitate and increase the generation of such exercises from authentic texts. ADAM & EVE is such a tool and will provide increased efficiency for both teacher and student.
