A review of the equine suspensory ligament: Injury prone yet understudied
Abstract The suspensory ligament (SL) is a key component of the elaborate and highly adapted suspensory apparatus in the horse. In addition to contributing to stabilisation of the metacarpophalangeal joint, the SL has a spring like function to reduce the energetic cost of locomotion.

Regulation of physiological and pathological condensates by molecular chaperones
Mounting evidence suggests that stress granules (SGs), dynamic membraneless compartments involved in cellular stress responses, can transition into pathological condensates upon improper disassembly. This review discusses the evidence supporting this notion.

Myelin is a multilayered proteolipid membrane in the nervous system. The lipid membranes are held together by specific proteins, and here, we studied three such proteins—P0, MBP, and P2. Our experiments show that the three proteins may act in synergy at the molecular level, while they also compete for lipid membrane surface binding.

Abstract Livestock manure is usually used as an organic fertilizer, yet its direct application to soil can cause several environmental problems, including greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions, N2O emissions and nutrient runoff into ecosystems. Transforming animal manure (AM) into biochar may mitigate these problems.
