Eye position effects in saccadic adaptation
Journal of Neurophysiology, 2011Saccades are used by the visual system to explore visual space with the high accuracy of the fovea. The visual error after the saccade is used to adapt the control of subsequent eye movements of the same amplitude and direction in order to keep saccades accurate. Saccadic adaptation is thus specific to saccade amplitude and direction.

Adaptation and the electrical excitability of the eye
Documenta Ophthalmologica, 1969Recent discoveries on the ommatidium mosaic structure of the human retina for sharp vision in colour are shortly reviewed and discussed in terms of new experimental results of electric phosphene threshold measurements with sinusoidal and pulse-shaped current.

A Bird's-Eye View of Pollination: Biotic Interactions as Drivers of Adaptation and Community Change
Annual Review of Ecology, Evolution and Systematics, 2019Nectarivorous birds and bird-pollinated plants are linked by a network of interactions. Here I ask how these interactions influence evolution and community composition. I find near complete evidence for the effect of birds on plant evolution. Experiments
