An ASIC design for adaptive beamforming
1991 International Conference on Circuits and Systems, 2002Adaptive beamforming is based on the RLS (recursive least squares) algorithm realized by the RLS systolic array (RLSSA) proposed by McWhirter in 1983. The authors use CORDIC (CO-ordinate Rotation Digital Computer) algorithm to implement RLSSA. Only shifting and adding operations are employed to realize all the primitive array's complex procedure.
