Adaptive control of ultrafiltration
IEEE Transactions on Control Systems Technology, 1996An adaptive controller has been developed and implemented for the control of ultrafiltration in dialysis treatments of patients with renal problems. The reason for using adaptive control is the large difference in process dynamics when different dialysis filters are used.

Adaptive Cruise Control: A Model Reference Adaptive Control Approach
2020 24th International Conference on System Theory, Control and Computing (ICSTCC), 2020This paper presents a Model Reference Adaptive Control (MRAC) based framework for vehicle adaptive cruise control systems. The linear longitudinal dynamic model is created with uncertainties in the state and input matrix. The controller structure aims to handle these uncertainties and also maintains the desired distance with the lead vehicle.

Adaptive control in an adaptive optics experiment
Journal of the Optical Society of America A, 2010This paper presents results from an adaptive optics experiment in which an adaptive control loop augments a classical adaptive optics feedback loop. Closed-loop wavefront errors measured by a self-referencing interferometer are fed back to the control loops, which drive a membrane deformable mirror to correct the wavefront.
