Statistical properties of single-mode fiber coupling of satellite-to-ground laser links partially corrected by adaptive optics.

open access: yesJournal of The Optical Society of America A-optics Image Science and Vision, 2018
In the framework of satellite-to-ground laser downlinks, an analytical model describing the variations of the instantaneous coupled flux into a single-mode fiber after correction of the incoming wavefront by partial adaptive optics (AO) is presented ...

Adenosine A3 receptor antagonists as anti‐tumor treatment in human prostate cancer: an in vitro study

open access: yesFEBS Open Bio, EarlyView.
The A3 adenosine receptors (A3ARs) are overexpressed in prostate cancer. AR 292 and AR 357, as A3AR antagonists, are capable of blocking proliferation, modulating the expression of drug transporter genes involved in chemoresistance, ferroptosis, and the hypoxia response, and inducing cell death.

Adaptive optics imaging of the retina

open access: yesIndian Journal of Ophthalmology, 2014
Adaptive optics is a relatively new tool that is available to ophthalmologists for study of cellular level details. In addition to the axial resolution provided by the spectral-domain optical coherence tomography, adaptive optics provides an excellent lateral resolution, enabling visualization of the photoreceptors, blood vessels and details of the ...

A Content-Adaptive Method for Image Denoising

open access: yesIEEE Access, 2019
In this paper, we firstly analyze the statistical distribution of simultaneous sparse coding errors (SSCE), which reflects the local correlation and non-local correlation characteristics of natural images.

Anisotropic Filtering Based on the WY Distribution and Multiscale Energy Concentration Accumulation Method for Dim and Small Target Enhancement

open access: yesRemote Sensing
In ground-based infrared optical remote sensing systems, the target signal is very weak due to the dynamic strong light background and the movement of dim and small targets.
