A Modular Adaptive Optics System
Adaptive Optics, 1996A modular, commercially available adaptive optics system is described. Appropriate for small laboratories exploring new applications of adaptive optics, the system combines advances in the construction of high speed computers and deformable mirrors to offer closed loop bandwidths of up to 50 Hz with 37 actuators of control.
