IEEE Transactions on Power Systems, 1994This paper presents the adaptive reclosing technique as a new concept to reduce the high torsional torques to which turbine-generator shafts might be subjected during high-speed reclosing of multi-phase power system faults. In this context, investigations have been conducted on a large turbine-generator model for various multi-phase faults.

An adaptive single phase reclosing algorithm based on the mathematical morphology

Adaptive Three-Phase Reclosing of Distribution Network Using the Injected Signal
2020 10th International Conference on Power and Energy Systems (ICPES), 2020An adaptive three-phase reclosing strategy is proposed for distribution network, using the injected signal by putting additional power on secondary ports of the voltage transformer. After distribution network three-phase tripping, the strategy injects a voltage signal before reclosing time.

It presents application of wavelet transform in identification of transient and permanent faults by processing the fault generated high frequency voltage transients.
