Cooling of Duplex Stainless‐Steel Bars With Different Water and Air Impinging Jet Flow Rates
This study investigates the cooling behavior of super duplex stainless steel bars using water and air impinging jet quenching technique (IJQT) of various flow rates. The findings highlight the critical role of cooling rate in controlling sigma‐phase formation and impact toughness, demonstrating the effectiveness of the IJQT in industrial applications ...

SVM, RF and ANN methods are performed to predict microhardness and ultimate tensile strength of AA60601 depositions fabricated via additive friction stir deposition. The highest prediction accuracy of ANN is attributed to the existence of hidden layers and the stability of the data source acquired by the process‐aware kit.

Hardness Distribution and Defect Formation in Aluminium Alloys Fabricated via Additive Friction Stir Deposition (AFSD) [PDF]
Additive friction stir deposition (AFSD) is an emerging solid-state additive manufacturing technique where material is deposited layer-by-layer. Unlike fusion-based additive manufacturing processes, AFSD relies on a rotating tool to extrude and bond ...
